jyj jaejoong’s keep your head up vs tvxq’s keep your head down

Yesterday, on the 4th, ex-TVXQ member JaeJoong tweeted something very interesting. He tweeted:

You keep your head up and keep an open mind.

The now duo group TVXQ, consisting of members: Uknow Yunho and Max Changmin, recently put out an album with a title song called Why (Keep your head down) which has a high chance of being related.

Before TVXQ’s album dropped, many were saying that Why (Keep your head down) was a dissing song towards JYJ createding much controversy (still ongoing) and interest.

Netizens are pointing out these lyrics:

You look pretty but inside you’re so different, that’s what I’m afraid of

You always believed that I’d crumble without you. That’s a misunderstanding, why would I do that?

I was really, really sad. Because you were so immature, I was afraid you’d meet someone bad.

It’s thought that these lyrics are disses towards JYJ.

It acceptable that dissing is becoming more prevalent in media when netizens are paying attention to the meaning of every word being said or sung and hanging onto them for retaliation.

Fans are saying things such as

JaeJoong‘s also taking those lyrics to heart like the rest of us.

I don’t know why but it’s saddening…

Jaejoong fans angered with “Poseidon” over miscasting

The writer for upcoming drama “Poseidon” is facing a lot of heat from Jaejoong fans due to a couple of contrary statements he made about Jaejoong and TVXQ’s Yunho.

Last July, he uploaded photoshopped images of Jaejoong on his personal Facebook page and wrote, “Although it’s not confirmed yet, if Jaejoong and Kap Su Jwa were cast for my drama, I’d feel so honored and do my best.

Soon after, news agencies released articles confirming Jaejoong’s role in “Poseidon”. When a fan left a message stating that she hoped Jaejoong would do well for the drama, the writer replied, “Yes, I too am hoping for good news.”

However, with recent news of Yunho being confirmed for “Poseidon”, a controversy quickly arose.

Although the writer had previously rallied for Jaejoong, Yunho’s confirmation caused him to do a complete turn. He left contradictory tweets about Jaejoong’s supposed casting, “Sigh~ Internet news agencies putting in their [EXCLUSIVE] headlines and writing as if they don’t care what the truth is.

Angry fans began tweeting back, “The writer is saying something completely different now. He acted as if Jaejoong would be cast for the drama at first” and “What happened to Jaejoong’s casting then?

The writer responded, “There was nothing confirmed, and articles were already being released as if it was. We, too, are going through difficult times because of this. However, the fans are probably going through a much more difficult time than we are. This may seem like a fake statement, but I am truly thankful for every actor that chooses to work with me.”

Although he attempted to clarify the situation, fans continued attacking him for his hypocrisy until the writer eventually decided to terminate his Twitter account.

JYJ Announces Global Album “The Beginning”, Kanye West helps on the production

Some big news coming from the JYJ (Jaejoong, Micky Yoochun, Xiah Junsu) camp as they’ve just announced a new global album release for “The Beginning”.

Here’s the exciting information below:

JYJ Announces “The Beginning”

New album from the ex-members of Asia’s top selling male vocal act “TVXQ” collaborates with international music superstars on global debut

JYJ, which includes 3 main members from arguably the biggest selling male vocal group in Asia“TVXQ” has teamed up with A-list US producers Kanye West and Rodney Jerkins for their global album debut “The Beginning”. The title of the album is synonymous with their journey to date and marks a first for the group to release an English language album.

JYJ has an enormous fan base worldwide and the trio made it to the Guinness Book Records in 2008 and 2009 for having the World’s Largest Official Fan Club at over 800,000 members in Seoul alone and being The Most Photographed Celebrities in the World shot an estimated 500 million times in magazines, albums jackets, and commercials from the time of their debut in 2003 to May 19 2009 with their former group.

The first single off the album “Ayyy Girl” is produced by Kanye West who lends his vocals to the song. It also features the maestro of spoken word, Malik “The Poet” Yusef. It’s a song that depicts the quest of seeking that perfect girl but when you find her, things are never quite as perfect as you envision it to be.

Besides the catchy first single by Kanye West, The Beginning also sees original compositions by top music producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. The two tracks are “Empty” and “Be My Girl”.

Rodney Jerkins reportedly said,

“I’m really glad to work with JYJ on their debut album. It’s all about the East meeting the West these days and the world is becoming a melting pot of various cultures. To have Kanye and myself champion the cause of unifying the world through the international language of music and introducing top artistes from one end of the globe to this end in America makes this a very special project to us.”

Other than the creative collaborations with the US top producers onboard, JYJ who has been dabbling in songwriting since their teenage days, have also contributed a song each to the album. The tracks are ”Still in Love” Jaejung, ”I Can Soar” Junsu and ”I Love You” Yuchun.

Mr. Baek Chang Ju, the trio’s manager and CEO of C-JeS Entertainment, commented,

“We have faced many challenges in these recent months but are glad to complete an album which the boys are extremely proud of. The Beginning is a product of their blood, sweat and tears, and they hope fans will see the efforts that went into making this excellent album. As a partaker in their journey, I am so proud of them at this moment for what they have achieved.”

The album comprises of 7 tracks and 3 remixes. Jae Chong, one of Asia’s leading music producers has also contributed a track on it and played a big role in organizing and producing the overall project with the 3 members.

The Beginning is produced by Show Shop Entertainment and distributed by Warner Music worldwide. The album will be released on CD & digital formats from 12th OCT. There will also be a special limited edition `Luxury Package’ which will be numbered and limited to only 99,999 sets.

The first single “Ayyy Girl” will be made available via i-Tunes for download on the 19th of Oct.

They were the first group to successfully spearhead the 2nd Korean Music wave into the Japanese market by becoming the first non Japanese act to have nine No. 1 singles on Japan’s Oricon Charts.
